LISTEN TO THE EXCLUSIVE PODCAST WITH MATT JASKOL

WHAT IS YOUR ORIGIN STORY?

Racing. Most of my life up until the last few years has been surrounded by racing.

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT ADVENTURE?

A long tough travel to get to a fairly remote location. But it must have a place to skydive and maybe mopeds to cruise around.

WHO INSPIRED YOU TO BE THE PERSON YOU ARE TODAY?

Mostly my mother and father.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE 15 YEAR OLD YOU?

Someday it will all make sense. And I would maybe say don’t wait until you’re 30 to skydive.

DESCRIBE A EUPHORIC MOMENT FOR YOU?

The first time I had a Nesspresso shot haha

HOW DO YOU WANT TO IMPACT THE WORLD YOU LIVE IN?

By inspiring people to actually LIVE life. Through Travel and adventure.

HOW IMPORTANT IS MINDFULNESS TO REACHING PEAK PERFORMANCE?

Everything. Attention to detail and situational awareness isn't just important for reaching Peak performance but could be the difference between life and death in the sport that I grew up in.

HOW IMPORTANT IS BREATH TO REACHING PEAK PERFORMANCE?

Extremely important. I used to tell my students the most important thing was to breathe. Without it, you’ll pass out and that’s no good...

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE FEELING STRESSED OUT?

Really depends what it is I’m stressed about. Life to me is so dynamic that different stresses lead me to do different things to cure them. Sometimes I need to be at the gym or on my bike, sometimes I need to be out to dinner with friends and sometimes I need to be alone..

WHAT ARE YOUR STRONGEST CHARACTER TRAITS AND HOW DO THEY IMPACT YOUR PRODUCTIVITY AND/OR PERFORMANCE?

Integrity. I believe its impact is in the fact that I always do what I say I’m going to do, which is everything in productivity and performance. IMO

WHAT DO YOU DO TO GET INTO THE ZONE?

I find myself to be a bit of a complicated person at times. Once again it really depends where I’m at mentally sometimes I need to be alone listening to some music other times I need to be around people I trust and talking.

WHAT ARE YOUR WEAKEST CHARACTER TRAITS AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO TURN THEM INTO STRENGTHS?

Passing judgement and negativity to quickly. Just being more conscious of it and realizing everyone has a struggle.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CURRENT PROJECTS.

Working towards becoming a tandem rated skydiver. Also a TV show that will be coming out this summer on ABC.
